Dr. Shrestha is the Chairman of the Company. He is well known hydropower professional in Nepal. He has more than 25 years of experience in planning, design and implementation of hydropower and tunnelling projects. He is graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (IoE, Nepal), Master’s Degree in Hydropower Development (NTNU, Norway), PhD in Tunnel Engineering (NTNU, Norway). Dr. Shrestha is also a visiting professor at Institute of Engineering, Paschimanchal Campus, Pokhara and Pulchowk Campus, Lalitpur.

Dr. Shrestha is well known hydropower expert in Nepal having overall experience of more than 30 years. He has contributed his expertise in numerous hydropower projects in Nepal, specifically in the planning and design of hydropower projects and hydraulic design of headworks structures.
