Dr. Hari Shankar Shrestha
Dr. Shrestha is well known hydropower expert in Nepal having overall experience of more than 30 years. He has contributed his expertise in numerous hydropower projects in Nepal, specifically in the planning and design of hydropower projects and hydraulic design of headworks structures. Some of the major projects are in which he has contributed in project design and implementation are:

He is graduate of Master’s Degree in Hydraulic Structures (former USSR), Master’s Degree in Hydropower Development (NTNU, Norway), and PhD in Sedimentation and Sediment Handling in the Himalayan Reservoir (NTNU, Norway).
